BIOGRAPHY
Neil Wood is a British artist, writer, curator and graphic designer. Since the early nineteen-eighties he has lived and worked in London, Paris and Brussels.
His practice incorporates photography, writing and print-making; three media threads that are continually explored and reconfigured within carefully themed projects, often arriving at unexpected results through shifts in scale, focus and association.
In his writing, language triggers alter meaning and provoke the irrational, the humorous and the psychologically charged. Typography and text are used to suggest narrative flow and generate mental imagery, whilst sculptures, printed works, audio performances and videos emerge through an ongoing interplay between language, material and form.
