KILLER WRAPS
KILLER WRAPS® explores the ability of language to generate images, objects and narratives through sound alone. While colour appears to be the starting point, it functions primarily as a lure or subterfuge, setting in motion a sequence of verbal associations that evolve from description into increasingly exaggerated and unexpected outcomes.
Each work begins with a colour name and qualifier, establishing a tonal and semantic field from which language develops according to its own internal momentum. A pivotal shift then occurs, often marked by a comma, where the text moves from cause to effect, introducing a heightened state of hyperbole, humour, absurdity or poetic excess.
Operating between poetry, typography, conceptual art, branding, sculpture and performance, KILLER WRAPS® treats language as a generative force capable of transforming perception. Words become objects, colours become pretexts and meaning remains deliberately unstable, inviting viewers to navigate a territory where wit, rhythm and semantic slippage coexist.
